The First Meeting of the First Academic Committee of Cosunter’s Key Laboratory for Research of Drugs

Recently, the first meeting of the first Academic Committee of Cosunter’s Key Laboratory for Research of Drugs for Liver Diseases in Fujian was convened successfully in Fuzhou. General Manager and senior management personnel from Fujian Cosunter Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and experts of this industry from all over the country attended this meeting. In this meeting, the leading group and Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory was announced to be established, and Mr. Chen Ying, General Manager of Cosunter, issued appointment letters for members of leading group and the first Academic Committee; the meeting deliberated and passed the Articles of Association of the Academic Committee and rules and regulations related to experiment; Mr. Wu Wenqiang, Executive Director of the Laboratory reported the operation condition and development planning of the Laboratory; meanwhile, the meeting discussed and determined the open topic declaration guidelines of the Key Laboratory in 2018.  

In this meeting, experts of the Academic Committee analyzed the current status of treatment for liver diseases at home and abroad in a comprehensive and deep-going way, looked forward to the prospect of the industry from multiple aspects of clinical application, scientific research and economic benefits and put forward important suggestions for the further development of the Key Laboratory in combination with actual situation.  

Fujian Key Laboratory for Research of Drugs for Liver Diseases, which was supported Fujian Cosunter Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., is focused on research and development of drugs for liver diseases. Under the strong support of Cosunter, the Laboratory has been built into a provincial-level key laboratory with sufficient scientific research buildings, advanced instruments and equipment and perfect supporting facilities. In the future, the Laboratory will keep up with international leading edge, focus on development of drugs for liver diseases, pay attention to expansion of the discipline, strengthen cooperation within the industry, open up to a greater level, introduce more talents, stick to innovation, highlight the features and gradually build the first platform for research of drugs for liver diseases in the South.
