Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement Signed by Cosunter and WuXi AppTec for “the Best Plan of HBV Treatment”

Fujian Cosunter Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“the Company” or “Cosunter” for short), as the leading company engaged in liver medicine development in China, cooperated with WuXi AppTec regarding the project related to HBV treatment method independently developed by Cosunter for the purpose of “the Best Plan of HBV Treatment”.

The Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement was signed by both parties on February 9, 2017.

WuXi AppTech is one of well-known new drug R&D organizations in the world, relying on world-wide leading technology in new drug development, production and service to provide quality service related to new drug development as well as solutions.

Cosunter and WuXi AppTech have signed four cooperative contracts for new drug development related to HBV, FLD and liver cancer from 2016.

The all-round cooperation aims to contribute to Chinese people’s liver health and we struggle to develop a kind of world-class new drug authorized with proprietary intellectual property right and hope to provide scientific solutions to human liver health.

Signature of this strategic framework agreement is an essential step for Cosunter to carry out “the Best Plan of HBV Treatment” and also the solid foundation for both parties to build all-round strategic partnership in liver disease treatment.

Both parties cooperate to carry out “the Best Plan of HBV Treatment” proposed by Cosunter and try to seek for the best cooperation plan; both parties will apply for a paten as per the Agreement with the intellectual property exclusively owned by Cosunter. The agreement took effect on February 9, 2017.

Cosunter and WuXi AppTech signed the agreement on new drug development as strategic partners for “the Best Plan of HBV Treatment” with several projects under implementation.
